Lender's ToolBox :: Essential tools for lenders OR borrowers
A versatileAmortization program that not only computes and prints the "normal" monthly P&I schedules but also allows fixed principal payments plus accrued interest. The program also includes weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual payment options using equal 30 day months or exact days between dates (365/365 or 365/360 basis) for the interest accruals. Onscreen options allow you to produce balloon (lump sum) payment schedules whenever desired, and you can modify the 'standard' computed schedule for rate changes, lump-sum or additional payments, etc. You can even include interest free or interest only payments at the beginning of the term! Choose from four report styles when printing reports or 'export' the schedule to RTF, HTML, or CSV files.
A variable rate type is available, and you can optionally project a worst-case interest rate scenario in an amortization schedule. You can include payments for insurance, taxes, and other escrow amounts in the computed schedule. Payment coupons (including late fee calculations for dates and delinquent payment amounts) can be customized to your preferences, printed, and easily collated into a booklet for your borrower.
Use the Loan Calculator for 'what if' scenarios: enter any 3 of the initial loan amount, interest rate, frequency of payments, or payment amount ... the program will calculate the missing variable. Then "copy" that perfect scenario into the Amortization Schedule. Or calculate the costs/benefits of a loan refinance package with the new Refinancing Breakeven Calculator.
